Return & refund policy
A plain-language refund policy for Skyforma Learning Sdn Bhd. Effective 1 March 2026. Supersedes any previous versions.
The short version
Unused lessons inside a pack can be refunded within thirty days of purchase, less a small administrative fee (RM 60). Past that window we will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis where unforeseen circumstances apply.
1. Free trial
The free trial is free. There is no payment to refund. You leave the trial with a written CEFR assessment whether you continue with Skyforma or not.
2. Standard refund window
If you purchase a lesson pack (Prime, IELTS & TOEFL block, Business Sprint, Children's Club, Conversation Circles) you have thirty days from the purchase date to request a refund on lessons not yet taken. Lessons already attended within that window will be deducted at the per-lesson rate stated on the relevant course page.
How to request
- Email [email protected] from the email address used to enrol.
- State your name, the pack purchased and a one-line reason (a short reason is enough — we will not ask you to justify it).
- We will respond within five working days with a refund schedule.
3. Administrative fee
A flat administrative fee of RM 60 is deducted from any refund. This covers payment-processor fees, mentor planning time and accounting.
4. After the thirty-day window
After thirty days, unused lessons in a pack are not normally refundable. We consider exceptions for documented circumstances, including: serious illness, a family bereavement, an employer-driven relocation outside Malaysia, or a service failure on our side (a mentor leaving mid-pack without an agreed substitute). Please write to us with the relevant circumstances and we will respond within seven working days.
5. Service-failure refunds
If we are unable to deliver a lesson that was scheduled and confirmed, we will offer a replacement slot within fourteen days. If no acceptable replacement is available, the lesson is refunded at the per-lesson rate.
6. Refund mechanics
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Bank-clearing time depends on your card issuer (typically five to fifteen working days). For cash-in-hand or in-person refunds, please write to us; in-person refunds are processed at our Seremban studio by appointment.
7. Children's Club
The Children's Club is billed monthly. Cancel any time before the next billing date to stop the following month's charge. We do not refund the current month once it has started, but we offer a one-time switch to a different format (e.g. once-a-week to twice-a-week) if your circumstances have changed.
8. Gift packs
Lesson packs purchased as a gift can be transferred to the named recipient before the first lesson, and are refundable to the original purchaser within thirty days if untouched. Once redeemed, the recipient becomes the contracting party.
