1. The agreement

By booking a free trial, enrolling in a programme, or paying for a lesson pack, you enter into an agreement with Skyforma Learning Sdn Bhd (company number 1567843-A), a private limited company registered in Malaysia, whose office is at Suite 12, Wisma Akademik, Jalan Dato Bandar Tunggal, 70000 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

2. Our services

Skyforma delivers online English language tuition. Lessons take place inside our learning space and are delivered by mentors selected and trained by Skyforma. We reserve the right to substitute mentors where necessary, with prior notice to the student.

3. Eligibility

Adult programmes are open to learners aged sixteen and over. The Children's English Club is for learners aged six to fourteen and must be booked by a parent or guardian, who remains the contracting party for all purposes.

4. Lessons, packs and validity

Lesson packs purchased through Skyforma have a validity window stated on the relevant course page (typically sixteen to fifty-six weeks). Lessons not taken within that window expire. We may extend the window where the student has experienced material illness or other documented hardship.

5. Rescheduling and missed lessons

Students may reschedule any lesson up to four hours before the start time, from inside the learning space. Lessons cancelled with less than four hours' notice are deducted from the pack. Mentor-initiated rescheduling does not reduce the pack and includes a written apology with a new time within fourteen days.

6. Fees and payment

All fees are in Malaysian ringgit (MYR) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Payment is taken in full at the time of enrolment via our payment partner. We do not store full card numbers; only a masked reference for the purpose of issuing receipts and refunds.

7. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our refund policy. In summary: unused lessons in a pack can be refunded within thirty days of purchase, less a small administrative fee, when no exceptional circumstances apply.

8. Student conduct

Skyforma operates a respectful environment. Mentors and students are expected to communicate kindly. Repeated disrespectful conduct, including discriminatory language, may result in the student being unenrolled with no refund of past lessons.

9. Intellectual property

Lesson materials, recaps, audio prompts and progress letters remain the intellectual property of Skyforma Learning Sdn Bhd, licensed to the student for personal study. Redistribution, including to other educational providers, is not permitted without prior written consent.

10. Liability

Skyforma's total liability for any direct loss arising from this agreement is capped at the fees paid by the student in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. Where mediation is appropriate, both parties agree to attempt mediation in Kuala Lumpur before issuing proceedings.
